Job Purpose

The Fleet Frontline Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily fleet frontline operations to ensure safe, efficient, compliant, and customer-focused transportation services. The role supervises trip planning, vehicle allocation, driver deployment, GPS monitoring, and operational support activities to deliver seamless services across all client categories.

The incumbent develops operational plans and coordinates vehicles, drivers, materials, and service compliance requirements to meet client demands while optimizing fleet utilization, service quality, safety standards, and operational efficiency.

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Fleet Operations Management

• Supervise daily fleet operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
• Optimize vehicle and driver utilization while resolving operational issues promptly.

2. Trip Planning and Scheduling

• Plan and coordinate vehicle and driver assignments based on client requirements.
• Manage route scheduling and resource allocation to maximize operational efficiency.

3. GPS Monitoring and Operational Control

• Oversee GPS monitoring activities to ensure trip visibility and route compliance.
• Investigate delays, route deviations, and operational irregularities and implement corrective actions.

4. Customer Service and Client Support

• Ensure transportation services meet client expectations and contractual requirements.
• Address service issues and coordinate solutions to maintain customer satisfaction.

5. Driver Management and Supervision

• Supervise driver performance, attendance, and compliance with company policies.
• Conduct coaching, briefings, and support initiatives to improve service quality and safety.

6. Resource Planning and Coordination

• Coordinate vehicles, drivers, and operational resources to meet service demands.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure fleet readiness and availability.

7. Safety, Compliance, and Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, client requirements, and company standards.
• Monitor and investigate incidents, implementing corrective actions to reduce operational risks.

8. Reporting and Performance Monitoring

• Monitor fleet performance through operational KPIs and service metrics.
• Prepare reports and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.

9. Team Leadership

• Lead and develop Fleet Frontline and GPS Monitoring teams to achieve operational objectives.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Requirement:

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet operations, transportation, logistics, or vehicle management.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience using GPS tracking and fleet management systems.
