Key Responsibilities
Tax Compliance & Reporting
- Prepare Monthly Tax Submission for Supervisor/Manager for Review which includes preparing purchase records, WHT, and checking the sale record
- Reconcile VAT and WHT listings against accounting records and verify all the invoices and transactions in detail for accuracy and completeness to make sure they are aligned with the latest Tax Regulations and Update.
- Ensure full compliance with GDT Prakas, Instructions, notifications, and ongoing regulatory updates.
- Prepare Tax Payment within the deadline and record all the transactions in General Ledger.
- Prepare and submit tax rulings and official correspondence to GDT for asset write-offs and other tax-related approvals
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to tax and fixed assets.
Fixed Asset Management
- Maintain and review the Fixed Asset Register to ensure accuracy and completeness by company, by branch, and by department.
- Receive updated asset listings from Admin Custodians and roll out depreciation in accordance with company policy and accounting standards.
- Perform periodic fixed assets count jointly with Admin Custodians and reconcile physical assets to accounting records.
- Maintain detailed asset write-off and disposal listings, ensuring proper approval and documentation.
- Record asset adjustments, write-offs, transfers, and disposals accurately to system timely.
- Maintain Asset Under Construction Listing and convert it to Fixed asset for Depreciation Purpose timely for management review.
- Proactively identify process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
Other Tasks
- Support Stock Reconciliation by branch
- Other tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- A Diploma of Cambodian Tax is preferrable.
- Strong knowledge of VAT, WHT, and local tax regulations (GDT compliance).
- Solid understanding of fixed asset accounting, depreciation methods, and asset lifecycle management.
- Experience working with Fixed Asset System or E-Filing is a plus.
