Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Partnership 

  • Collaborate with retail operations leaders to understand business needs and translate them into HR strategies. 
  • Support workforce planning and talent acquisition aligned with retail expansion and seasonal demands. 
  • Advise on organizational design and staffing models for fuel stations and retail outlets. 

Employee Relations & Compliance 

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, health & safety regulations, and company policies across all retail sites. 
  • Handle disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution professionally and legally. 
  • Monitor absenteeism, turnover, and employee conduct, especially in high-turnover retail environments. 

Performance & Talent Management 

  • Implement performance appraisal systems tailored to retail roles (e.g., station attendants, cashiers, supervisors). 
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning programs for frontline staff and managers. 
  • Support career development and succession planning for key retail roles. 

HR Operations & Reporting 

  • Oversee HR administration for retail staff: contracts, onboarding, payroll coordination, and benefits. 
  • Maintain accurate HR metrics and dashboards for retail workforce analysis. 
  • Support audits and internal reviews related to HR practices at retail sites. 

Culture & Engagement 

  • Promote a positive work culture across fuel stations and retail teams. 
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and feedback mechanisms. 
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in retail hiring and management. 

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in retail, FMCG, or petroleum sectors. 
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to travel to retail sites as needed. 

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience with HRIS systems and data-driven HR decision-making. 
  • Familiarity with shift-based workforce management. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location retail environment.
