Building on the success of the previous two years, BVM Petroleum is proud to organize the “Run for a Healthier Community Year 3”, in collaboration with Chea Sim Preaek Anhchanh High School, on 18th July 2026, to continue to promote healthy lifestyles among young people while reinforcing BVM’s long-term commitment to community well-being and sustainable social development.

The “Run for a Healthier Community Year 3” represents another milestone in BVM Petroleum’s ongoing CSR journey, reflecting the company’s dedication to creating positive and lasting impacts beyond its core business. Through this annual event, BVM continues to strengthen its partnership with local educational institutions and communities, contributing to the development of healthier and sustainable communities for future generations.

Like the previous years, participating students will have the opportunity to demonstrate their determination and sportsmanship while competing for exciting prizes. In addition to receiving awards, student winners will be given a unique opportunity to participate in the Angkor Empire Marathon in Siem Reap alongside BVM representatives.

They will also be invited to visit BVM Petroleum’s Head Office, BVM staions and Fuel Terminal, where they will gain first-hand insight into the company’s operations, safety standards, and commitment to delivering quality fuel nationwide. The experience is designed to broaden students’ horizons, inspire their future aspirations, and create lasting memories beyond the school environment.

Mrs. Meas Kunthea, Deputy CEO of BVM Petroleum, said that “I am truly proud to see all 12 of our award-winning students participate in the 10-kilometer Angkor Empire International Marathon in Siem Reap with confidence, enthusiasm, and determination. They successfully completed the race with impressive finishing times in both 2024 and 2025. In addition, the students had the opportunity to learn about the remarkable history of Angkor Wat through guided tours during their visit to the temple, making the experience both educational and inspiring.”

“In 2026, BVM will continue this initiative because we firmly believe that “Sport is the best medicine for health.” We are committed to fostering a love of sports beginning in educational institutions and we firmly believe that by promoting sports participation, we can empower students to cultivate healthier bodies, paving the way for brighter and more prosperous future for them. Healthier students contribute to healthier schools. A healthier school contributes to a healthier community.” She added.

Since its launch, “Run for a Healthier Community” has become more than just a running event. It has evolved into a meaningful platform where students, teachers, and the local community come together to celebrate health, unity, and positive values. The continued partnership with Chea Sim Preaek Anhchanh High School reflects a shared vision of empowering young generations through education and wellness.

Mrs. Kunthea continued that “we believe that investing in young people’s health is investing in Cambodia’s future. We are delighted to continue the ‘Run for a Healthier Community’ initiative for the third consecutive year because we have seen how this program encourages students to stay active, build self-confidence, and develop healthy habits that can benefit them throughout their lives. BVM remains committed to working alongside our partners to create meaningful opportunities that contribute to the long-term well-being and sustainable development of Cambodian communities.”
